Once again, Norwalk was proud to host the Cavalcade of Bands November 3, 2007. This major event welcomed 25 bands from Connecticut and our neighbor states, including New York and New Jersey. The Cavalcade has been one of the largest shows in the Musical Arts Conference circuit.
Hope you enjoyed an autumn extravaganza outdoors at Norwalk High School Testa Field (County Street near Strawberry Hill Avenue), seeing marching bands compete at their very best,
with visually stunning choreography and music second to none. Hope you brought the kids and grandparents!
Police protected parking was available at Andrews Field with shuttle buses to Norwalk High School as shown on the vicinity map.
There was also parking at Naramake Elementary School with direct access to Norwalk High. Handicapped parking is available on the grounds of Norwalk High. Directions to Norwalk High are on the vicinity map as well as on the directions page).
We were proud to welcome the Yale University Precision Band and the Wilton Marching Band as our special guests performing in exhibition at intermission and to close the show,
respectively.

Schedule with warmup, quiet times, and performance times (Last updated 10/13)
Our concession stand has a full complement of food and beverages and our bake tent should satisfy every sweet tooth.
The Cavalcade is the single most important event of the marching season for funding bands activities, including transportation costs (buses and equipment trucks),
instructor fees, flags, costumes, and whatever expenses are necessary to operate a successful band program for children.
Thank you for signing up and being an integral part of what was an exciting evening of music and marching at the 25th Cavalcade of Bands!
